Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer (Java) to drive the technical excellence of our development team. You will be a key contributor to our system architecture, responsible for building robust, scalable solutions while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring our codebase meets the highest industry standards.

Requirements:

• Engineering Leadership: Take the lead in designing and developing high-performance Java-based applications. Contribute significantly to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy.

• Code Excellence: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge across the team.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical reality.

• Optimization & Debugging: Troubleshoot complex performance issues, debug production systems, and proactively optimize application performance.

• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Java.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong expertise in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).

  • Proven experience in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

  • Solid grasp of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL.

  • Experience with cloud-based deployments and modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving prowess, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Leadership Advantage: Experience in a lead or mentoring capacity is a significant plus
