You will be the primary custodian of our Emerson DeltaV DCS, ensuring that our automation logic, field sensors, and control loops operate at peak efficiency. If you have 5–8 years of experience in high-pressure industrial environments and a "Goal Zero" approach to safety and ethics, we invite you to steer our technical excellence.
Requirements:
1. DeltaV DCS & Automation Governance
System Integration: Navigate and maintain Emerson DeltaV DCS systems, handling everything from alarm management to the integration of new skids and packages.
Engineering Workstation Support: Execute advanced configuration updates, conduct system health checks, replace faulty hardware modules, and manage critical backup/restore routines.
Control Optimization: Diagnose and resolve automation-related issues (e.g., oscillations, trips, alarm floods) to ensure stable and efficient process operations.
2. Field Instrumentation & Technical Assurance
Maintenance Execution: Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters, as well as complex analyzers and control valves.
Calibration & Loop Testing: Execute functional tests, loop checks, and configuration of instruments according to OEM standards to ensure technical assurance.
Fault Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex signal failures, wiring issues, and control loop abnormalities to restore plant functionality rapidly.
3. Reliability, HSE & Continuous Improvement
Goal Zero Advocacy: Actively support the achievement of zero incidents, accidents, or ethics breaches through site visits and proactive UA/UC (Unsafe Act/Unsafe Condition) reporting.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Provide technical feedback on recurring failures and participate in reliability audits and failure investigations.
Lifecycle Management: Support the Management of Change (MoC) process and ensure all loop drawings, instrument indexes, and P&IDs are updated to "As-Built" status.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: HND in Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronics, or Automation & Control Engineering. (A Bachelor’s degree is a distinct advantage).
Experience: 5–8 years in instrumentation maintenance. Mandatory, strong hands-on expertise with Emerson DeltaV is required.
Sector IQ: Proven experience in oil and gas, power, or large-scale manufacturing facilities.
Technical Competencies
DCS Mastery: Proficiency in DeltaV hardware/software troubleshooting and workstation management.
Field Expertise: Deep understanding of control valves, positioners, smart transmitters, and process analyzers.
Blueprint Literacy: Expert ability to interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and control narratives.
CMMS Proficiency: Experience updating maintenance records and calibration logs within a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
