We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for oil and gas facilities, with a particular focus on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) projects.
• The role involves providing technical leadership, ensuring design integrity, reviewing engineering deliverables, and supporting project execution in accordance with client specifications, industry codes, and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Engineering Design & Analysis:

• Lead the preparation, review, and approval of mechanical design deliverables, including datasheets, equipment specifications, P&IDs, material requisitions, and vendor drawings.
• Perform design and engineering calculations for static and rotating equipment, piping systems, and support structures.
• Ensure all mechanical systems comply with applicable codes (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, etc.) and client standards.
• Provide design inputs for equipment layout, stress analysis, and constructability reviews.

Project Execution & Coordination:

• Support EPC project activities from conceptual design to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with process, piping, civil/structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Review vendor bids, perform technical evaluations, and recommend suitable equipment and materials.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Prepare and review project reports, design change notes, and technical queries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng/B.Sc) in Mechanical Engineering (R.COREN & MNSE is an advantage)
• Minimum of 8–12 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, including EPCL (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning Lifecycle) projects.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, ISO, etc.).
• Familiar with project management practices and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
