Job Description:

• Our client needs a seasoned backend developer to join the technology team.
• The role needs strong technical competence, solid problem solving and a proven history of delivering stable and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services
• Build and support applications using ASP.NET in vb.NET WCF
• Write clean and reliable code
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery for system interfaces
• Use XML and JSON for data exchange
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries and T SQL procedures
• Troubleshoot system issues and deploy timely fixes
• Prepare technical documentation for updates, maintenance and new releases
• Support continuous improvement across the development team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum of Second Class Upper or HND Upper Credit in Computer Science, Computer Software or Systems Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Information Systems.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years experience in software development
• Strong programming background
• Hands on experience with Microsoft technology stack.

Required Skills:

• ASP.NET in vb.NET WCF
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
• XML and JSON
• SQL Server and T SQL programming
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Ability to document processes and system changes.

Additional Advantage:

• Web services knowledge in .NET
• Understanding of Team Foundation Server on the client side.
