Job Description:
We are looking for a versatile, fashion-forward, and highly organized Secretary to manage the day-to-day operations of our clothing store. You will serve as the heartbeat of our brand, ensuring that every customer whether they visit us in-store or interact with us online receives exceptional service. This role is a hybrid position that blends administrative support, inventory management, and digital engagement, making it ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements:
Customer Experience: Provide a warm, welcoming experience for walk-in customers. Efficiently manage inquiries and purchase requests via phone, WhatsApp, and email, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
Social Media Management: Act as the voice of our brand online. Monitor our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business), respond to comments and messages, and post updates on promotions and new arrivals to drive engagement.
Inventory & Stock Control: Oversee the accuracy of our stock. You will be responsible for tracking incoming and outgoing goods, updating daily inventory logs, and verifying deliveries against invoices. You will also lead periodic stock counts to prevent shortages.
Administrative & Reporting: Prepare end-of-day reports summarizing sales activities, customer feedback, and inventory movements. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all store receipts and documentation.
Store Coordination: Ensure the store front-desk and administration area remain orderly and professional at all times. Provide general administrative support to the store owner or manager to facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or retail role. Previous experience in fashion retail is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace.
Social Media: Solid understanding of how to manage business accounts on Instagram and WhatsApp, with a focus on maintaining brand tone.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional record-keeping skills with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
Soft Skills: A customer-centric mindset, strong time management, and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Professionalism: You are reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently to maintain the quality of our store’s reputation.
