Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our business, ensuring that our daily sales operations run smoothly while providing an exceptional experience for our customers.
You will manage the end-to-end sales process from processing orders and issuing invoices to maintaining accurate stock levels and providing administrative support to the branch team. If you are organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering great service, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
Sales & Transaction Processing
Order Management: Receive customer orders and enter them accurately into the system on a daily basis.
Invoicing: Prepare and issue sales invoices promptly, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
Accuracy: Maintain precise records of all sales, inventory, and customer transactions.
Inventory Control
Stock Oversight: Conduct regular stock counts twice a week and submit accurate reports.
Monitoring: Monitor stock levels closely and alert management immediately to any shortages, discrepancies, or operational concerns.
Customer Service & Support
First Point of Contact: Receive and professionally handle customer phone calls and inquiries.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with our customers through courteous, efficient, and proactive service.
Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints effectively, escalating issues to the Branch Manager only when necessary.
Operational Support
Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
Office Maintenance: Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
Assistance: Provide administrative support to the Branch Manager and handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Previous experience in a sales, retail, or customer service role is highly desirable.
Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using computer systems for data entry, invoicing, and reporting.
Organizational Skills: You are meticulous with documentation and capable of managing inventory with a high level of accuracy.
Communication: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable interacting with customers via phone and in person.
Reliability: You are highly organized, capable of multitasking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Minimum of an OND/HND/BSc in a relevant field.
Salary
