  • Project Management: Lead the implementation of the firm’s SoQM, providing specialized coaching to quality functions and process owners to ensure brand alignment.

  • Compliance Testing: Execute ongoing monitoring activities through rigorous compliance testing, reporting exceptions, and developing robust action plans.

  • Review Support: Facilitate periodic compliance and quality reviews, whether initiated by regulators or the global PwC network.

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Perform deep-dive RCA to identify why audit quality issues occur and facilitate remedial actions to prevent recurrence while identifying best practices for continuous improvement.

2. Compliance, Risk & Independence

  • Regulatory Navigation: Facilitate a deep understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards across the assurance practice.

  • Conflict & Independence: Address complex practice inquiries regarding independence matters and conflicts of interest, ensuring the firm remains unbiased and compliant.

  • Contracting & Acceptance: Liaison with internal counsel to manage the firm’s contracting processes, as well as client/engagement acceptance and continuance procedures.

3. Leadership & The PwC Professional

  • Coaching & Delegation: Empower team members by delegating "stretch" opportunities and providing active coaching to deliver high-quality results.

  • Communication: Use structured, straightforward communication to influence stakeholders and build quality relationships across diverse and multi-locational teams.

  • Integrity: Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct, serving as a role model for ethical standards and professional skepticism.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Certifications

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.

  • Professional Status: Must be ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent qualified.

Experience & Competencies

  • Total Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an external or internal audit role (professional services firm experience is highly preferred).

  • Technical Mastery: Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and assessing compliance functions.

  • Strategic Mindset: Ambitious, mature, and business-minded with a strong ability to bring order to unstructured problems.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel as required to support diverse regional engagements.
