Job Description:
Process and Product Compliance:
- Carries out checks and ensures that manufacturing processes and products are in accordance with Corporate standards, local legislations as well as Codex Alimentarius
Implementation of Operating Standards and Compliance Tests:
- Ensures implementation of approved operating standards and compliance according to procedures and work instructions to guarantee food safety and high product quality using Foqus Manual as well Corporate Manual
Product Registration and Revalidation:
- Timely registration of new products and revalidation of existing products in accordance with relevant regulations so as to obtain certification and License for all company products.
Advert Control and Compliance:
- Vets Advertisements scripts and contents (Radio, TVC , Press etc. ) and advise to ensure compliance with Corporate standards, National legislations .Obtain official Approval for same from Regulatory Agency
Documents Control:
- Supports the development, maintenance, implementation and updating of Policies, Standards, Guidelines, Processes and procedures. Keep records of valid Product Licence and Licence to Operate
Quality , Food Safety , SHE standards implementation & Audits:
- Support audits of operating processes (FSMS,ISO, FrieslandCampina Policies, 3rd Party etc. ) as well as Dos and Don’ts of Marketing of IFT according to company and statutory requirements in order to ensure compliance. Supports where required, in the implementations of standards/requirements
Reporting:
- Ensures timely preparation of periodic reports in line with company and statutory requirements so as to provide adequate information on Regulatory Affairs function.
Inspections:
- Escort company regional ,government or 3rd party etc. inspectors during inspections and provide post-inspection follow-up information, root causes, corrections, corrective actions , follow ups etc. as requested.
NPD and EPDs:
- Advise project teams on subjects such as premarket regulatory requirements, export and labeling requirements.
- Provide technical review of data or reports that will be incorporated into regulatory submissions to assure scientific rigor, accuracy, and clarity of presentation.
Assigned Functional / Job Related Tasks:
- Execute any other assigned task(s) as given by Line Manager/Head of Team/Functional Director it relates to the job.
Key Responsibilities
- To obtain and maintain certified operating standards and regulations and check for compliance in line with company and statutory requirements in order to ensure consistency and the highest level of efficiency attainable in company operations.
Requirements:
- First Degree in Food Science and Technology / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Food Tech and related Science & Technology disciplines
- Quality, Food Safety, HACCP etc
- Regulatory guidelines, Policy, standards etc.
