Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Recruitment Business Partner to join our operations team. This role is designed for a strategic talent professional who does more than fill vacancies; you will align talent acquisition with our broader organizational goals. You will collaborate directly with business leaders to support manpower planning and deliver high-impact hiring solutions in a technical and fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate brings specific experience from the Oil and Gas servicing sector, possessing the industry insight required to identify and secure specialized technical talent while navigating a competitive market.
Requirements:
Strategic Talent Partnering
Workforce Planning: Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to forecast manpower needs and translate business objectives into effective recruitment strategies.
Strategic Advisory: Advise managers on hiring decisions, providing insights into niche market trends, talent availability, and competitive salary benchmarking.
Process Alignment: Develop and implement recruitment frameworks that go beyond basic hiring to ensure long-term talent retention and organizational fit.
End-to-End Execution
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the complete hiring journey, including proactive sourcing, rigorous screening, interviewing, and final offer negotiations.
Pipeline Architecture: Build and maintain deep talent pipelines for critical, technical, and hard-to-fill roles common in the Oil & Gas servicing industry.
Brand Advocacy: Lead employer branding initiatives to position the company as a premier destination for top-tier industry professionals.
Operations & Metrics
Data-Driven Hiring: Utilize recruitment metrics and data analytics to monitor hiring performance, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve time-to-hire and quality-of-hire.
System Management: Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern recruitment tools to streamline operations and ensure data integrity.
Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive experience for all candidates, reflecting the professional standards of the brand.
External Relations: Manage and optimize relationships with external recruitment agencies, specialist job boards, and industry networks.
Governance & Culture
Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices strictly adhere to Nigerian labor laws and internal corporate governance.
DE&I: Actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the recruitment process to build a balanced and representative workforce.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification: Professional certification from CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria) is required.
Experience:
Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition with a strong emphasis on the Oil and Gas servicing sector.
Demonstrated ability to navigate the complexities of technical and field-based hiring.
Core Competencies:
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
Negotiation: Strong influencing and negotiation skills, particularly regarding total reward packages for specialized talent.
