Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite QA/QC Engineer to anchor the technical engine of our operations in Gusau. In the demanding construction landscape of Northern Nigeria, success is defined by "Structural Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize raw material inputs with the clinical precision required for Concrete Mix Design, Compressive Strength Testing, and ITP (Inspection & Test Plan) execution. This role is designed for a "Validation Architect" who can blend "Metrological Grit" (performing slump and cube tests) with the "Regulatory Agility" required to develop Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Method Statements.

Requirements:

1. Compliance Orchestration & Quality Governance

• Framework Sovereignty: Develop and implement high-fidelity PQPs and ITPs, ensuring every site activity acts as a "Source of Engineering Standards."

• Specification Architecture: Ensure absolute compliance with approved drawings and industry regulations, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Fidelity."

• Audit Stewardship: Maintain a "Zero-Lapse" documentation system for handover processes and internal/external audits, ensuring the "Source of Project Credibility."

2. Concrete Resilience & Batching Logic

• Mix Sovereignty: Supervise batching plant operations and validate mix designs with clinical focus, ensuring the "Source of Structural Integrity."

• Equipment Architecture: Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of batching equipment, providing the "Mechanical Foundation" for accurate proportions.

• Placement Stewardship: Oversee the production, transit, and placement of concrete, acting as the primary "Source of Casting Excellence."

3. Material Integrity & Testing Power

• Sampling Sovereignty: Conduct routine inspections of cement, aggregates, and water, acting as the primary "Source of Input Quality."

• Laboratory Architecture: Ensure rigorous testing (slump, cube, and compressive strength) with millimetric focus to maintain the "Source of Traceability."

• Inspection Logic: Perform daily site visits to identify non-conformances, utilizing engineering expertise to optimize the "Source of Preventive Action."

4. Coordination & Capability Development

• Training Sovereignty: Educate site personnel on quality standards and best practices, acting as the "Source of Team Competency."

• Interface Architecture: Coordinate with consultants and third-party agencies with professional poise, ensuring "Zero-Friction" in quality validations.

• Reporting Logic: Prepare high-fidelity daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for management oversight.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: Proven experience in a QA/QC Engineering role, specifically within civil construction or concrete works.

• Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of concrete mix design, batching plant operations, and material testing protocols (slump, cube, strength).
