Job Description:

The QC Chemist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of products throughout the manufacturing process. He/She is responsible for conducting physicochemical analyses on raw and packing materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify composition and adherence to local regulatory and Danone standards.

Requirements:

• Conversant with FMCG industry standards and regulatory guidelines (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards).
• Knowledge of FSMS (FSSC 22000) is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance protocols and Sanitation procedure
• Analytical skills and attention to details for interpreting test result
• Strong knowledge of chemical testing techniques and Food safety regulations
• Promoting strong team spirit,leading with people to achieve set goals
• Good laboratory practices and management knowledge
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and regulatory compliance
• Good leadership and communication skills

Qualifications and Skills:

• HND/BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food science and technology or any other related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing and quality laboratory operations preferable dairy operations.
