Job Description:

• Supervise all QA/QC activities related to the production of explosives and raw materials.
• Coordinate laboratory analysis, sampling, and testing schedules.
• Implement and monitor compliance with established quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and final output to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all QC tests, non conformance report and corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis and initiate corrective/preventive actions for quality issues
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
• Collaborate with production and safety team to ensure quality is built into every stage of the process.
• Ensure compliance to Operational and product quality standards and also statutory regulations
• Supervise daily process and checks in production plant.
• Monitor in-process quality parameters.
• Assist the chemist in product improvement and laboratory synthesis of product.
• Supervise the activities of the lab assistant towards compliance and SOPs. and GMP
• Assist the chemist in product improvement and laboratory synthesis of product.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
• Excellent analytical and documentaion and reporting skills
• Knowledge of explosive and chemical product testing protocol
• Problem solving and analytical skill.
• ISO standards ( ISO 9001, ISO 17025) certificate and GMP Certification is an added advantage.
• Quality inspection and testing and GMP compliance monitoring.

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Sc in Chemical Engineering,, Microbiology,Industrial Chemistry or any related field
• A minimun of three (3) years experience
