Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary QA Engineer / Experience Officer to lead the localization of our mobile ecosystem in Nigeria. In this role, you will be the primary architect of "Local Experience Testing," ensuring that our devices and software platforms perform flawlessly with the most popular and unique third-party applications used by Nigerian consumers.

Beyond traditional bug hunting, you will act as a Market Anthropologist. You will identify unique local user scenarios—from how Nigerians interact with fintech apps under varying network conditions to the specific pain points of local transport and e-commerce platforms. Your mission is to build a high-output experience team that "intercepts" local issues before they reach the user, ensuring a world-class, localized user experience.

Requirements:

1. Local Ecosystem Mapping & Strategy

• TOP App Curation: Continuously identify, track, and update the list of Nigeria’s TOP third-party applications, including "differentiated" local apps that are unique to the Nigerian socio-economic landscape.

• Localization Planning: Underake headquarters' construction goals to plan and build local experience testing frameworks that reflect real-world Nigerian usage.

• Opportunity Mining: Analyze user pain points and "value opportunities" to discover core differentiated needs that our technology can solve.

2. Scenario Engineering & QA Operations

• Scenario Library Construction: Establish and maintain a comprehensive "Localization Scenario Library"—a database of real-world conditions (e.g., erratic data speeds, dual-SIM behaviors, specific payment gateways) that third-party apps must navigate.

• Testing Process Mastery: Lead the Android platform testing process, identifying characteristic local issues (e.g., compatibility errors with local banking apps) and improving overall testing efficiency.

• Issue Interception: Serve as the final gatekeeper, ensuring that local characteristic bugs are identified and resolved in collaboration with global headquarters.

3. Team Leadership & Global Liaison

• Team Development: Manage and mentor a local experience team, guiding testers to improve their design thinking and technical testing capabilities.

• Cross-Border Communication: Articulate complex local user needs and technical pain points to the global headquarters, serving as the "Voice of the Nigerian User."

• Project Driving: Proactively promote project progress and ensure that technical problems are resolved through cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Technical Mastery: Deep familiarity with the Android platform testing process and quality assurance methodologies.

• User Research IQ: A solid theoretical foundation in user research with the ability to perform "Pain Point Mining."

Core Competencies

• Communication: Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills; ability to simplify local complexities for global teams.

• Leadership: Experience in managing testing teams is highly preferred.

• Drive: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a strong sense of quality awareness and problem-solving.
