Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Project Finance Manager to anchor our financial engine at the Lokoja Field Office. In the specialized sector of Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID), success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex grant management with the clinical precision required for disability law implementation, multi-sectoral capacity building, and donor compliance. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" with 2 years of post-qualification experience and a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics who can blend "Audit Grit" (internal and external audit management) with the "Strategic Agility" required to support Organizations of People with Disabilities (OPDs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
Requirements:
1. Reporting Orchestration & Grant Governance
Reporting Sovereignty: Prepare month-end, quarterly, and donor-specific financial reports with clinical precision, acting as the primary "Source of Insight" for the SMT.
Compliance Architecture: Enforce strict adherence to national, organizational, and donor conditions, ensuring every grant expenditure acts as a "Source of Integrity."
Monitoring Logic: Lead routine grant monitoring mechanisms, including monthly and quarterly budget meetings, to ensure "Zero-Friction" in project execution.
2. Financial Resilience & Banking Logic
Accounting Sovereignty: Maintain accurate records for all daily transactions, ensuring the financial system remains a "Source of Truth" for balance sheets and petty cash logs.
Banking Architecture: Execute all banking transactions with millimetric focus on risk mitigation, reconciling statements in collaboration with the Executive Director and Finance Manager.
Invoicing Power: Process invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable with high-velocity focus, maintaining the "Economic Velocity" of the Lokoja field office.
3. Audit Stewardship & Capacity Power
Audit Sovereignty: Lead the preparation for internal and external audit processes, acting as the primary "Source of Resolution" for implementing audit recommendations.
Strategic Architecture: Work synchronously with the program team to prepare budgets and forecasts, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for multi-sectoral inclusive development.
Documentation Logic: Ensure all project activities are filed in strict compliance with donor policies, maintaining a "Source of Verification" for the capacity-building of OPDs and government stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in financial management or grant accounting.
Certification: Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CNA, or CIMA) is a significant strategic advantage.
Core Competencies
Technical Grit: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks or ProMIS).
Operational Sovereignty: Deep knowledge of financial and tax regulations, coupled with strong numerical and analytical skills.
Character Integrity: Exceptional ethics and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding project stakeholders.
