About Company:
RedLeaf Energy Limited is a fast-growing, performance-driven indigenous Oil & Gas construction, maintenance and specialized services company.
Job Description:
Redleaf Energy is seeking a top-tier Project Manager to lead high-value ($50m–$150m) Oil & Gas and major infrastructure assets. This is a high-visibility role requiring a seasoned engineer who can master the "Golden Triangle" of project management: Safety, Schedule, and Cost.
You will take full ownership of the project life-cycle—from mobilization through to commissioning—while maintaining a "Zero Harm" HSSE culture. We are looking for a commercial heavyweight who can navigate the complexities of EPCC contracts, proactively manage claims and variations, and ensure strict adherence to Nigerian Content requirements.
Requirements:
1. Full Life-Cycle Technical Execution
EPCC Orchestration: Lead and coordinate the complete project flow: Mobilization → Engineering → Procurement → Construction → Commissioning → Handover.
Supply Chain Vigilance: Proactively manage long-lead items and critical materials using a live tracker and early warning system to prevent schedule slippage.
Asset Readiness: Ensure the delivery of two-year recommended spares and technical documentation in strict alignment with contract specifications.
2. Commercial & Cost Governance
Financial Stewardship: Maintain top-quartile cost performance through rigorous monthly cost reporting, cashflow forecasting, and budget monitoring.
Contractual Strategy: Lead commercial risk-based decision-making; prepare accurate monthly valuations, manage variation claims, and process payment certificates.
Variation Management: Maintain a sharp focus on scope-creep, ensuring all variations are documented and claims are processed to protect project margins.
3. Risk Management & HSSE Leadership
Zero Harm Culture: Hold full accountability for HSSE, ensuring zero harm to people, assets, and the environment throughout the project duration.
Proactive Risk Mitigation: Identify and document technical and commercial risks, implementing mitigation strategies before they impact project delivery.
Regulatory Compliance: Drive strict compliance with Nigerian Content requirements in all procurement and labor activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: M.Sc / M.Eng. in any Engineering discipline.
Experience: Minimum 12 years post-NYSC experience in Oil & Gas or major infrastructure.
Seniority: At least 3–5 years as a Lead/Senior Project Engineer on projects valued between $50m and $150m.
Contract Mastery: Very strong experience managing EPC / EPCC contracts is mandatory.
Certification: Membership of COREN, NSE, or PMP is a strong advantage.
Technical Competencies
Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
Commercial Acumen: Exceptional skills in cost control, variation management, and contractual claims.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and high-level client stakeholders.
