We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Plant Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the biomass conversion plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production output.
• The ideal candidate will manage the production team, maintain process efficiency, and ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and quality standards in line with International Greembers’ sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Supervision:

• Coordinate and supervise all plant operations, including feedstock handling, pyrolysis processing, and product output (bio-briquettes, bio-oil, syngas).
• Monitor plant performance and ensure production targets are met in line with cost, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Implement process control and optimization measures to ensure smooth and continuous production.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery are operated in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards.

Staff Management:

• Supervise plant operators, technicians, and casual laborers to ensure optimal productivity.
• Schedule shifts, assign duties, and monitor staff performance.
• Conduct training and mentoring programs on equipment handling, safety, and operational best practices.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and a culture of accountability and safety.

Maintenance & Equipment Management:

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Ensure that maintenance schedules are adhered to and equipment logs are properly maintained.
• Report mechanical faults, process anomalies, and recommend technical improvements to management.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment aligned with sustainable operational practices.

Quality Assurance & Reporting:

• Ensure all production processes meet quality standards and sustainability benchmarks.
• Maintain accurate daily production, inventory, and performance records.
• Prepare and submit production and efficiency reports to the Plant Manager.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and quality audits.

Resource & Waste Management:

• Oversee biomass feedstock storage, usage, and waste reduction strategies.
• Monitor material flow and ensure efficient use of inputs to reduce costs and environmental footprint.
• Implement circular economy principles in plant operations to maximize recovery and reuse.
