Job Description:
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and lead comprehensive GTM plans for product launches, new features, and market entry initiatives.
- Customer & Market Insights: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product positioning and messaging.
- Positioning & Messaging: Define compelling product narratives and value propositions tailored to various customer segments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, engineering, sales, and operations teams to align product roadmap priorities with customer needs and ensure successful feature rollouts.
- Campaign Development: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, paid, content, and partnerships) that drive product awareness, engagement, and adoption.
- Marketing Enablement: Create product collateral such as pitch decks, landing pages, FAQs, blog posts, and internal documentation to support sales enablement and customer education.
- Data & Analytics: Utilize data and analytics tools to track campaign performance, customer acquisition, and user behavior, and apply insights to optimize strategies.
Requirements:
- Ability to move from ideation to execution independently.
- Strong curiosity around customer behavior and product-market fit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with comfort in deriving insight from data.
- Strong collaborative skills across multiple teams.
- High sense of ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Experience in delivery, logistics, fintech, or marketplace environments is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Segment, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Business Suite, etc.
- Exposure to marketing within African or emerging markets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Demonstrated success in developing and launching impactful campaigns.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or GTM roles—preferably within tech startups, SaaS, logistics, or consumer services.
- Proven experience working in fast-paced or unstructured environments.
