Our services are centred around sourcing the finest, solid minerals and the healthiest agricultural products from the local market and exporting them to meet the demands of our customers at international markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We seek to hire a qualified and technically competent Procurement Officer for ourAluminium and Copper Ingots Manufacturing Plant. The Factory, which is based in Mowe [Lagos-Ibadan Express Way], Ogun state will primarily recycle a broad range of scrap materials and convert them to usable Aluminium and Copper Ingots for different manufacturing purposes.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

  • Source for suppliers of scraps and raw materials.
  • Adhere to guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items, the number of bids to accept, and which vendors to consider.
  • Procure goods for the company.
  • Update supplier list/database regularly.
  • Supplier relationship/engagements.
  • Discuss contracts and possible engagements through the Manager.
  • Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support, and availability of goods and services.
  • Monitor scrap suppliers’ deliverables and timelines.
  • Prepare and send out weekly/monthly reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achieve at least 95% on-time delivery of scrap materials from suppliers.
  • Maintain procurement cost savings of 5–10% through effective negotiation and sourcing.
  • Ensure 98% supplier quality compliance on all aluminium and copper scrap deliveries.
  • Maintain 100% adherence to procurement policies and reporting timelines.
  • Keep procurement spend within ±5% of approved budget.
  • Achieve 98% ERP data accuracy and timely update of supplier database.

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Aluminium scraps procurement experience is required.
  • 4 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role for a recycling facility.

Required Competencies:

  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or other ERPs.
  • Interpersonal skills such as teamwork and good listening skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time and organize.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask.

Salary

N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
