Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and operationally disciplined Procurement / Logistics Officer to anchor our supply chain engine. In a volatile market environment, success is defined by "Sourcing Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize proactive vendor evaluation and aggressive price negotiation with the clinical precision required for freight coordination, last-mile delivery, and inventory integrity. This role is designed for a "Supply Architect" with 3–5 years of experience who can blend "Commercial Grit" (securing optimal payment terms) with the "Operational Agility" required to track complex movement of goods across the Nigerian landscape.

Requirements:

1. Sourcing Architecture & Procurement Governance

• Vendor Sovereignty: Source, evaluate, and select a "Source of Excellence" for suppliers, maintaining high-fidelity records and price lists to ensure constant market competitiveness.

• Negotiation Logic: Secure elite pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions through disciplined negotiation, maximizing the organization's "Capital Velocity."

• PO Stewardship: Engineer and manage purchase orders with millimetric precision, ensuring 100% compliance with internal procurement procedures and regulatory standards.

2. Logistical Orchestration & Movement Integrity

• Transit Sovereignty: Coordinate the high-speed movement of inbound and outbound goods, acting as the central "Source of Intelligence" for tracking deliveries and transporter follow-ups.

• Verification Excellence: Execute clinical inspections of delivered items—verifying quality, quantity, and technical specifications—before formal acceptance into the ecosystem.

• Distribution Synergy: Liaise synchronously with warehouse and store teams to ensure proper receiving, documentation, and optimized dispatch schedules.

3. Data Sovereignty & Audit Readiness

• Information Architecture: Maintain accurate, real-time procurement and logistics records (POs, Invoices, Delivery Notes), ensuring all data is organized and secure.

• Intelligence Reporting: Prepare high-impact weekly and monthly activity reports, providing management with "Data-Driven" insights into cost efficiency and logistical performance.

• Compliance Stewardship: Ensure 100% transparency in all procurement activities, maintaining an "Audit-Ready" filing system that aligns with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: OND / HND / B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years of robust experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain leadership.

• Technical Savvy: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory software; knowledge of modern procurement procedures.
