Job Description:

As a Procurement Analyst, you will be the data engine of our Supply Chain department. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between administrative procurement tasks and strategic data analysis. You will support the end-to-end EPC procurement lifecycle—from Purchase Requisition (PR) processing and supplier onboarding to performance tracking and spend analysis. Your primary mission is to ensure that our procurement data is accurate, our records are audit-ready, and our project timelines are supported by high-quality reporting and insights.

Requirements:

1. Procurement Operations & Project Support

• Transaction Management: Assist in the accurate processing of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring strict adherence to project-specific procurement procedures.

• Supplier Governance: Support the onboarding of new vendors by collating documentation and conducting rigorous compliance and due diligence checks.

• Timeline Tracking: Monitor the status of RFQs (Request for Quotations), approvals, and physical deliveries to ensure project site timelines are met without disruption.

2. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Spend Analysis: Collect and clean procurement data to analyze spending patterns, pricing trends, and supplier performance metrics.

• Visual Reporting: Develop and maintain procurement dashboards using Excel and Power BI to provide management with a real-time view of supply chain health.

• ERP Optimization: Support the integrity of our ERP system by ensuring all digital tracking tools and data fields are updated and accurate.

3. Stakeholder Coordination & Records Integrity

• Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a focal point between Projects, Engineering, Finance, and Accounts to resolve information gaps and streamline the procurement flow.

• Audit Readiness: Maintain meticulously organized records of all procurement activities to support internal controls and statutory audits.

• Operational Agility: Provide administrative support to the broader Supply Chain team, adapting to the fast-paced requirements of a leading construction firm.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, IT, Data Analysis, or a related discipline.

• NYSC: Completed or currently in progress.

• Tenure: 1–2 years of experience in procurement, administration, or data analysis (High-quality internships or industrial training (IT) experience is a plus).

Technical & Core Competencies

• Excel Mastery: Strong proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning (Essential).

• Power BI: Familiarity with creating basic visualizations and dashboards.

• Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with large datasets, financial numbers, and ERP systems.

• EPC Knowledge: A strong willingness to learn the complexities of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) supply chain management.

• Detail Orientation: Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to high-accuracy reporting.
