Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Planning Data Analyst to serve as the analytical engine of our supply chain operations. Your primary goal is to gather, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to drive informed decision-making across our planning functions. You will act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, using Power BI, SQL, and Python to identify trends, optimize reporting, and solve operational bottlenecks. Requirements:

1. Advanced Analytics & Reporting Optimization

  • Strategic Reporting: Partner with stakeholders to design and implement enhanced planning reports using Power BI and other advanced analytical tools to increase accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Pattern Recognition: Analyze raw datasets to identify underlying patterns, trends, and key insights that impact the overall planning process.

  • Automation: Collaborate with the NoCC (Network Operations Control Center) and Solutions functions to automate and optimize reporting across all planning areas.

2. Operational Oversight & Materials Planning

  • Root Cause Analysis: Monitor planned vs. actual deliveries; identify deviations and lead investigations into root causes to prevent future occurrences.

  • Inventory Stewardship: Track and review Obsolete & Near Expiry (ONE) materials with the Material Planning team to facilitate timely decision-making and minimize waste.

  • Returnable Assets: Coordinate with suppliers and the T1 team to track the delivery, pickup, and maintenance of returnable packaging assets.

3. Supply Chain Coordination & Reconciliation

  • Cross-Functional Reconciliation: Collaborate with MRP/SNP Planners and Logistics teams to reconcile discrepancies in opening stocks, material usages, production, and RTI (Returnable Transport Items).

  • Procurement Support: Manage the lifecycle of Purchase Requisitions (PR) and oversee the timely Goods Received Note (GRN) process for all materials delivered to sites.

  • Logistics Liaison: Schedule and monitor material dispatches from both local and international suppliers, ensuring seamless arrival at various plants.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Technical Mastery

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

  • Analytical Stack: Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, alongside advanced mastery of Excel.

  • Visualization: Experience building interactive dashboards and automated reports in Power BI.

  • Statistical Logic: A robust grasp of statistical methodologies to ensure data integrity and valid insights.

Core Competencies

  • Communication: Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Agility: Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Experience: Prior experience in data analysis, particularly within supply chain or logistics, is considered a significant advantage.
