Job Description:

1. Non-Invasive Cardiac Diagnostics

• Routine Monitoring: Execute all routine Electrocardiograms (ECGs) and set up/analyze Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) and Holter monitors within the Cardiac Suite.

• Stress & Functional Testing: Conduct advanced cardiopulmonary assessments, including Exercise Tolerance Tests (ETT) and 6-Minute Walk Tests (6MWT), monitoring patient vitals and safety throughout.

• Cardiac Suite Management: Maintain the diagnostic environment, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for clinical use.

2. Echocardiography & Patient Care

• Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for Echocardiography, including taking clinical histories, explaining the procedure to reduce anxiety, and ensuring proper positioning.

• Scanning & Support: Perform echocardiograms (cardiac ultrasounds) to visualize heart structure and function, or assist senior consultants during complex scans.

• Data Integrity: Ensure accurate recording and reporting of diagnostic findings for review by the Cardiologist.

Requirements:

Diagnostic Accuracy; 100% precision in lead placement and data recording for ECGs and Stress Tests.

Patient Throughput; Managing a daily schedule of [X] diagnostic tests without compromising quality of care.

Safety Compliance; Zero incidents during Exercise Tolerance Tests through vigilant patient monitoring.

Documentation; Finalizing and uploading diagnostic reports within [X] hours of procedure completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Tech in Physiology (Degree must be completed).

• Certification: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

• Experience: 1–2 years of clinical experience in a cardiac unit or diagnostic center.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating ECG machines, stress test treadmills, and echocardiography systems.

• Soft Skills: Excellent patient communication, a calm demeanor under pressure, and strong analytical skills.
