Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer to become the visual storyteller for mDoc. This role is about more than just taking pictures; it is about capturing the authentic human moments, healthcare impact, and professional excellence that define our mission. You will be responsible for creating a cohesive visual identity that strengthens our brand and communicates our work effectively across digital and traditional platforms.

Requirements:

  • Visual Content Production: Plan and execute photo shoots from concept to final delivery. You will capture high-quality images for campaigns, events, and day-to-day operations that align with our brand identity.

  • Storytelling & Impact: Document real-world impact stories by capturing meaningful, authentic interactions between patients, providers, and stakeholders.

  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media and Communications team to ensure every image serves a strategic purpose. You will contribute to the development of compelling visual narratives.

  • Digital Asset Management: Build, organize, and maintain an accessible digital library, ensuring all assets are correctly tagged, stored, and available for use across various departments.

  • Editing & Post-Production: Meticulously edit and retouch images to meet mDoc’s high standards for visual quality, ensuring consistency in color, lighting, and composition.

  • Equipment Stewardship: Take full ownership of our professional photography gear. You are responsible for the maintenance, safe transportation, and proper operation of all cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Media, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional photography experience, ideally within marketing, media, or social impact sectors.

  • Portfolio: A strong and diverse portfolio is mandatory. You must be able to showcase your ability to tell a story through images.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Equipment: Demonstrated hands-on expertise with professional DSLRs (e.g., Canon 6D or equivalent full-frame cameras).

    • Lenses: Comprehensive knowledge of prime, zoom, portrait, and wide-angle lenses.

    • Software: Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

    • Technical Skills: Mastery of manual camera settings (ISO, aperture, shutter speed) and lighting setups for diverse environments (low-light, events, etc.).

  • Key Competencies:

    • Professionalism: High level of discretion and empathy, especially when working with patients in sensitive healthcare environments.

    • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

    • Reliability: Willingness to travel as needed to capture the breadth of our work.

    • Bonus Skills: Basic video production skills will be considered a significant advantage.
