Job Description:

As part of our aggressive growth strategy, PalmPay is launching its Graduate Trainee Program to discover, develop, and retain high-potential young professionals. This is a structured, fast-track initiative designed to transform recent graduates into the next generation of fintech leaders. You will move beyond the classroom to work on real-world business projects, receiving professional mentorship and cross-functional exposure in one of Africa’s fastest-growing digital payment ecosystems.

Requirements:

1. Rotational Learning & Development

• Cross-Functional Exposure: Rotate through key business units to understand PalmPay’s products, backend systems, and operating procedures.

• On-the-Job Training: Participate in a blend of structured classroom sessions and direct participation in day-to-day operational tasks.

• Mentorship: Engage in regular coaching and performance review sessions with senior leaders to refine your professional growth.

2. Strategic Projects & Analysis

• Data-Driven Insights: Assist in data analysis, market research, and reporting to provide findings that influence stakeholders and business decisions.

• Process Innovation: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and refining internal fintech processes.

• Project Execution: Own assigned individual and team-based projects, contributing to high-stakes product launches and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

Academic & Regulatory Standards

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Upper / 2:1) from a recognized institution.

• Fields of Study: Degrees in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or related disciplines.

• NYSC: Must have completed NYSC at the time of application.

Demographics & Location

• Age: Not more than 27 years of age at the time of application.

• Experience: 0 – 2 years of post-NYSC work experience.

• Location: Must reside in Lagos, Nigeria.

Core Competencies

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Passion: A deep-seated interest in Fintech, digital innovation, and technology.
