Job Description:

Are you an aspiring engineer looking to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application? We is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Engineering Intern to join our structural engineering team.

In this role, you will work closely with licensed engineers to support the design, analysis, and execution of complex structural projects. This is an ideal opportunity for a civil or structural engineering student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in construction practices, project coordination, and industry-standard design software.

Requirements:

• Structural Analysis & Design: Assist senior engineers with structural calculations, preliminary load assessments, and basic engineering analysis.

• Technical Drafting: Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to prepare precise structural details, drawings, and design specifications.

• Project Documentation: Manage engineering files, organize project documentation, and support the preparation of delegated calculation packages.

• Quality & Coordination: Review vendor drawings, equipment submittals, and assist in responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) from project teams.

• Construction Support: Conduct quantity takeoffs and participate in site visits to observe field conditions and structural implementation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field.

• Technical Skills:

  • Solid understanding of structural engineering fundamentals.

  • Familiarity with CAD software, specifically AutoCAD or Revit.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common engineering calculation tools.

• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving ability, and a high level of eagerness to learn in a fast-paced professional environment.
