Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Officer to serve as the structural backbone of our supply chain and vehicle leasing operations. In a fast-moving corporate environment, efficiency is driven by the seamless coordination of assets and inventory. This role is designed for a "Resource Strategist", someone with 3–5 years of experience who can transition from negotiating supplier contracts to managing the technical compliance of a multi-vehicle lease portfolio.
Your mission is to eliminate operational friction. You will be responsible for the entire resource lifecycle: from inventory procurement and distribution to vehicle utilization tracking and lease renewals. If you possess the analytical grit to control costs and the communication skills to manage diverse vendor relationships, we want you to drive our operational excellence.
Requirements:
1. Integrated Supply Chain Management
Procurement Governance: Coordinate the end-to-end flow of goods, from initial requisition and supplier negotiation to inventory control and final distribution.
Vendor Performance: Monitor supplier KPIs to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and adherence to delivery timelines.
Process Optimization: Identify "bottlenecks" in the current supply chain and implement digital or manual improvements to enhance overall velocity and reduce waste.
2. Vehicle Lease & Fleet Governance
Portfolio Stewardship: Oversee the company’s vehicle leasing contracts, leading negotiations for renewals and ensuring all terms protect the organization's financial interests.
Asset Maintenance: Liaise with service providers to manage maintenance schedules, ensuring 100% vehicle uptime and minimizing repair costs through proactive oversight.
Compliance & Risk: Ensure every leased vehicle maintains proper insurance coverage, valid documentation, and adherence to local transport regulatory requirements.
3. Operational Analytics & Support
Financial Oversight: Support budgeting and forecasting for fleet and supply chain operations, ensuring that operational spend remains within approved limits.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Finance, Logistics, and Administration to streamline internal workflows and eliminate departmental silos.
Performance Reporting: Prepare high-level operational reports and performance metrics (e.g., cost-per-mile, stock turnover ratio) for senior management review.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of active experience in operations, specifically within fleet/vehicle lease management and procurement.
Software Mastery: Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel is a plus) and familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Fleet Management software.
Core Competencies
Negotiation Grit: Proven ability to manage vendors and stakeholders to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Analytical Precision: A strong eye for detail regarding contract terms, inventory levels, and expense tracking.
Integrity & Accountability: A high ethical standard for managing high-value assets and company budgets.
