Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally minded Operations Manager to anchor the daily lifecycle of our confectionery brand. In the precision-driven cake and bakery sector, success is defined by "Quality Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-fidelity sugar craft production with the clinical precision required for inventory control, food safety, and event-driven deadlines. This role is designed for a "Production Architect" with 1–3 years of experience who can blend "Bakery Grit" (overseeing production schedules) with the "Commercial Agility" required to optimize costs and lead a high-morale team.

Requirements:

1. Production Orchestration & Quality Governance

• Workflow Architecture: Oversee the end-to-end bakery lifecycle, from order processing to production scheduling, ensuring zero-bottleneck delivery for client celebrations.

• Hygienic Sovereignty: Enforce strict adherence to food safety and quality standards with millimetric precision, ensuring every cake leaving the facility is a "Source of Excellence."

• Wastage Mitigation: Monitor production inputs and inventory levels to minimize wastage, directly impacting the facility's bottom-line profitability.

2. Team Leadership & Creative Stewardship

• Human Capital Integration: Train, supervise, and motivate the baking and decorating staff, fostering a culture of high-speed productivity and technical mastery.

• Trend Reconnaissance: Stay updated on global confectionery trends and innovative sugar craft techniques to ensure the brand remains a "Source of Authority" in the Lagos market.

• Performance Engineering: Set clear expectations and conduct clinical performance reviews, resolving internal conflicts with professional diplomacy.

3. Financial Control & Client Diplomacy

• Inventory Sovereignty: Conduct regular stock audits and manage procurement cycles to prevent shortages or costly overstocking.

• Budgetary Fidelity: Monitor daily expenses and manage operational budgets with a focus on cost-effective scaling and high-margin product upselling.

• Resolution Mastery: Handle customer complaints with tact and clinical efficiency, implementing corrective actions to protect the brand’s reputation during peak event windows.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: HND / B.Sc Degree in any related field of study.

• Experience: 1–3 years of robust experience in a cake outlet, food outlet, or related hospitality industry.

• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial tracking. Expertise in sugar craft is a significant strategic advantage.
