Job Description:

 

We are seeking a high-caliber Operations Manager to serve as the engine of our fashion house. In a high-end design environment, the transition from a sketch to a finished garment requires meticulous coordination, technical precision, and disciplined management.

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle—managing designers, tailors, and administrative staff to ensure that quality, deadlines, and profitability are maintained. You will be responsible for optimizing workflows, managing budgets, and driving the commercial growth of the brand. If you have 4+ years of experience in the apparel industry and a deep understanding of textile technology and production scaling, we invite you to lead our operations.

Requirements:

1. Production Ecosystem & Workflow Optimization

  • Workflow Architecture: Coordinate the journey of a garment from the cutting table to the final fitting, ensuring seamless communication between designers and tailors.

  • Resource Optimization: Manage raw material sourcing, inventory levels, and production equipment to minimize waste and maximize output.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control checkpoints at every stage of the garment construction process.

2. People Leadership & Productivity

  • Team Synergy: Manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams, including creative designers, production supervisors, and artisans, to foster a culture of excellence and high productivity.

  • HR & Payroll Governance: Oversee staff schedules, performance reviews, and payroll administration to ensure a stable and motivated workforce.

  • Discipline & Safety: Enforce process discipline and health and safety standards within the production facility.

3. Commercial & Administrative Oversight

  • Financial Stewardship: Manage operational budgets, monitor production costs, and drive commercial awareness to protect the brand’s margins.

  • Administrative Operations: Support the overarching business growth by streamlining internal administrative processes and supporting procurement.

  • Strategic Growth: Work with management to scale production capacity and explore new market opportunities for the fashion house.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: BSc Degree in Business Administration, Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or a related field. (A Postgraduate Diploma is a significant advantage).

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven management experience specifically within the fashion, garment, or textile industry.

  • Industry IQ: Comprehensive understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and industrial production workflows.
