Job Description:

We are seeking a structurally elite and operationally rigorous Operations Manager to anchor the fulfillment engine and cold-chain integrity of DropX. In a high-velocity logistics landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the velocity of the delivery-relay and the precision of the temperature-controlled filter success is defined by "Operational Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize multi-hub inventory workflows with the clinical precision required for Fleet Ecosystem Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Revenue-Share Modeling. This role is designed as an "Operational Engine Room" a critical residency for an ambitious leader who can blend "Logistics Grit" (mastering the complexities of last-mile dispatch and cold-chain protocols) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute High-Fidelity fulfillment Workflows.

Requirements:

1. Operational Architecture & Hub Sovereignty

• Sovereignty of the Cold-Chain: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of temperature-sensitive goods, acting as the primary "Source of Inventory Integrity."

• Fulfillment Architecture: Oversee daily logistics—from route optimization and dispatch to returns/refunds—providing the "Structural Foundation" for on-time delivery.

• Integrity Stewardship: Ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene, and fire-safety standards across all physical hub locations, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Compliance" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Fleet Ecosystem & Vendor Integration

• Fleet Sovereignty: Recruit, train, and optimize rider utilization; act as the primary "Source of Fleet Efficiency."

• Vendor Architecture: Lead merchant onboarding and training (pharmacies/retailers), providing the "Functional Foundation" for product availability and quality control.

• Relationship Stewardship: Foster high-value partnerships with vendors to ensure product-listing integrity and marketplace health.

3. Regulatory Governance & Performance Power

• Compliance Sovereignty: Navigate the complexities of Lagos transport laws, NERC/LASERC, and sector-specific rules (RX/Pharma), acting as the primary "Source of Legal Risk-Mitigation."

• Process Architecture: Utilize Operations-Dashboards to track orders-per-day, spoilage %, and fulfillment costs, providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-driven decisions.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Financial-Management expertise to control operational costs and optimize the 70/20/10 revenue model, maximizing the "Source of Growth Momentum."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. (MBA is a strong advantage).

• Experience: 5+ years in logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a high-impact leadership role.

• Technical Power: Expertise in cold-chain logistics, last-mile delivery models, and route-planning/fleet management software.

• Aptitude: Exceptional data analytics skills, proficiency in Google/MS Workspace, and deep knowledge of the Nigerian regulatory environment (Lagos transport, NERC/LASERC).

• Mindset: Composed under pressure, data-obsessed, and capable of leading cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment.
