Job Description:
Advantage Health Africa Ltd is seeking a dynamic, clinical-minded Medical Sales Representative to accelerate our market presence. In this role, you will leverage your pharmaceutical background to act as a scientific bridge between our products and healthcare professionals (HCPs). You will be responsible for more than just selling; you will educate the medical community, open new distributorship channels, and aggressively grow sales within your territory. We are looking for a high-energy "hunter" who can articulate complex technical data, build unbreakable professional relationships, and consistently exceed commercial targets.
Requirements:
1. Territory Growth & Channel Expansion
Aggressive Market Penetration: Lead sales efforts within your assigned territory, identifying and converting high-potential prospects into loyal accounts.
Channel Development: Actively source and open new business and distributorship channels to expand the organization’s reach.
Competitor Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine your sales pitch and identify market gaps.
2. Clinical Engagement & Product Education
HCP Relations: Establish and nurture high-level relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
Technical Presentations: Conduct high-impact product demonstrations and scientific presentations to healthcare professionals, translating technical data into clinical benefits.
Product Advocacy: Stay current on clinical trials and pharmaceutical data to serve as a trusted advisor to medical stakeholders.
3. Sales Excellence & Performance
Target Attainment: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas within your territory.
Negotiation & Closing: Utilize advanced negotiation techniques to secure bulk orders and long-term supply contracts.
CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline progress, and territory performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a related biological science.
Tenure: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Medical Sales Representative.
Track Record: Demonstrated ability to open new markets and exceed aggressive sales targets.
Core Competencies
Scientific Literacy: Ability to understand and clearly articulate complex technical product information to specialists.
Persuasion: Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and closing skills.
