Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Medical Laboratory Scientist to anchor the diagnostic engine of our Ilupeju facility. In a specialized clinical landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the test and the precision of the data success is defined by "Diagnostic Sovereignty", ability to harmonize specimen preparation with the clinical precision required for Reliable Scientific Investigations, Equipment Validation, and Quality Control. This role is designed for a "Laboratory Architect" who can blend "Technical Grit" (operating and maintaining complex lab equipment) with the "Operational Agility" required to manage stock, adhere to safety measures, and present validated results for pathological review.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Diagnostic Governance

• Investigation Sovereignty: Perform laboratory tests to produce precise data with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Scientific Support."

• Preparation Architecture: Prepare specimens, samples, and reagents with clinical precision, providing the "Structural Foundation" for reliable testing outcomes.

• Integrity Stewardship: Promptly and accurately record laboratory results, ensuring the "Source of Pathological Approval" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Maintenance Logic

• Equipment Sovereignty: Operate and ensure the regular maintenance of laboratory equipment, acting as the primary "Source of Hardware Reliability."

• Validation Architecture: Participate in equipment validations, calibrations, and quality control assessments, providing the "Functional Foundation" for data accuracy.

• Safety Stewardship: Adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and checks, maintaining the "Source of Workplace Security."

3. Operational Integrity & Scientific Power

• Resource Sovereignty: Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced at all times, acting as the primary "Source of Supply Continuity."

• Data Architecture: Ensure the safety and integrity of all generated data records, providing the "Relational Foundation" for institutional research and investigations.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize expert technical knowledge to accelerate the "Sample-to-Result" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Clinical Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Certification: Must be a licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLSCN registration is mandatory).

• Experience: Proven experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting.

• Technical Power: Strong proficiency in operating automated analyzers and laboratory information systems (LIS).

• Location: Must be able to work full-time in Ilupeju, Lagos.
