We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- To plan, execute, and monitor mechanical maintenance activities for DRI plant equipment to ensure maximum reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of rotary kilns, coolers, conveyors, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical systems.
- Supervise and support technicians and fitters during maintenance jobs.
- Inspect and monitor critical rotating equipment for vibration, temperature, and lubrication conditions.
- Participate in root cause analysis of failures and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Prepare maintenance schedules, and spares requirements in coordination with the planning team.
- Ensure adherence to mechanical safety standards, work permits, and housekeeping during all maintenance work.
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning new mechanical equipment or plant modifications.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate daily activity reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in DRI, Steel, Cement, or Process Plant maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of rotary machinery, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and engineering drawings.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
