Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Manager of Public Relations & Brand Communications to anchor the influence engine of WhirlSpot Media. In a specialized Pan-African media landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the narrative-relay and the precision of the brand-filter success is defined by "Narrative Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize integrated marketing with the clinical precision required for Brand Positioning, Thought Leadership, and Multi-Channel Campaign Execution. This role is designed for a "Strategic Architect" specifically a leader with 5 to 7 years of experience who can blend "Creative Grit" (managing high-impact client projects) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Market Intelligence and Regional Brand Growth.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Agency Governance
Sovereignty of the Brand: Develop and implement the annual brand communication strategy to position the agency as a top-tier player, acting as the primary "Source of Institutional Positioning."
Influence Architecture: Build a strong Pan-African presence through media features and strategic partnerships, providing the "Structural Foundation" for regional authority.
Integrity Stewardship: Create compelling thought-leadership content, ensuring the "Source of Agency Expertise" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Client Logic
Project Sovereignty: Lead high-impact integrated marketing projects for clients, acting as the primary "Source of World-Class Delivery."
Campaign Architecture: Design multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, traditional), providing the "Functional Foundation" for brand visibility.
Relationship Stewardship: Act as the senior client-facing liaison, maintaining deep partnerships and delivering measurable, high-fidelity results.
3. Operational Integrity & Talent Power
Leadership Sovereignty: Manage and mentor the marketing team to deliver innovative campaigns, acting as the primary "Source of Team Excellence."
Analytical Architecture: Measure campaign success using analytics and reporting tools, providing the "Relational Foundation" for optimized marketing ROI.
Velocity Logic: Utilize Integrated Communications expertise to accelerate the "Insight-to-Execution" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Agency Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or Business (Master’s preferred).
Experience: 5 – 7 years in PR or integrated communications, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Regional IQ: Proven track record of managing Pan-African campaigns and multi-market projects.
Technical Power: Proficiency in Marketing Analytics, digital strategy, and stakeholder management.
Media Assets: Strong existing relations with media houses and influencers across the African continent.
