Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Finance Manager to lead the financial and accounting architecture of our organization. This is a strategic leadership role designed for a professional who does more than "manage books"—you will serve as a growth catalyst, ensuring that the financial engine is optimized for efficiency, transparency, and expansion.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage, direct, and develop the Finance and Accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and accuracy. Your mission is to provide the data-driven insights necessary to power our growth agenda, from meticulous group consolidation to forensic performance reviews and proactive cash planning. If you are a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 10+ years of experience and a passion for systems optimization, we invite you to lead our financial function.

Requirements:

1. Systems Management & Financial Reporting

• Reporting Excellence: Lead the preparation of timely monthly management accounts and accurate financial statements for the business unit.

• Group Consolidation: Support the GM in preparing consolidated group financial statements and managing all year-end closing activities.

• Audit Leadership: Act as the primary lead for the annual audit of the Centre, ensuring 100% compliance and zero-defect documentation.

• Process Transformation: Continuously upgrade financial processes and systems to improve reporting speed and accuracy.

2. Financial Planning, Analysis (FP&A) & Growth

• Budgetary Governance: Prepare yearly budgets and lead rigorous weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reviews to ensure fiscal discipline.

• Expansion Analytics: Conduct high-level financial forecasting and analysis for potential new Centres as part of the organization's growth agenda.

• Cash Stewardship: Lead cash planning, monitoring, and control initiatives to ensure optimal liquidity and working capital management.

3. Operational Control & Staff Leadership

• Credit Control: Oversee day-to-day financial transactions and credit control functions to safeguard the company’s cash flow.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Work in close collaboration with the GM of Financial Reporting to resolve complex accounting issues and implement management directives.

• Team Development: Manage and mentor the accounting staff, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of technical and business developments.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a similar senior leadership role.

• Professional Certification: Mandatory ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.

Technical Competencies

• Numerical Mastery: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a "forensic" eye for detail.

• IT Proficiency: Advanced level spreadsheet skills (Excel) and high PC literacy; experience with ERP systems.

• Bookkeeping Excellence: Mastery of complex accounting and bookkeeping principles.

Behavioural Qualities

• Leadership: Proven track record of managing and developing finance teams.

• Communication: Confident presenter with strong report-writing skills for executive audiences.

• Resilience: Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict statutory and management deadlines.
