Job Description:
• Draft legal and strategic documents for organizational use.
• Review and prepare contracts, agreements, and internal policies for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research and provide advisory support on applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies as required.
• Support the Head of Legal in addressing legal‑related public policy issues.
• Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain statutory books (members, directors, shareholders, etc.).
• Periodically review corporate documentation to ensure validity and compliance.
• Interpret new and existing legislation affecting company operations.
• Stay updated on relevant regulatory and legislative changes.
• Perform administrative and secretarial duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) and BL qualification from the Nigerian Law School.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, regulations, and compliance trends.
• In‑depth knowledge of corporate and commercial law (local and international).
• Proven experience with contract drafting and administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and research abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• High sense of responsibility, accountability, and integrity.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
