We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist preferably within the manufacturing sector to join our dynamic HR team.
• This role is ideal for a professional with over 6 years of experience, particularly within the manufacturing sector, who is passionate about enhancing workforce capability and organizational effectiveness.
• As an L&D Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing training needs, developing targeted learning solutions, and driving continuous employee development initiatives across the organization.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instructional design, training delivery, and performance evaluation, and will hold relevant international HR certifications (HRCI, SHRM, CIPD, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) and identify skills gaps in collaboration with department leads
• Design, implement, and evaluate both technical and soft-skills learning programs
• Facilitate onboarding, compliance, and leadership development training
• Manage and optimize the use of learning platforms and LMS tools
• Collaborate with HR and business units to align L&D strategies with organizational goals
• Monitor and measure training effectiveness using models such as Kirkpatrick or ROI metrics
• Maintain training records, reports, and documentation in compliance with HR standards
• Coordinate training logistics, including venue setup, materials, vendor management, and inter-regional sessions
• Support employee development planning and succession management initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field with a minimum of 6 years' experience in a Learning and Development role, preferably within the manufacturing sector
• International HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR (HRCI), or equivalent
• Proven expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training evaluation
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required by the role
• Based in or willing to relocate to Ikoyi, Lagos

Travel Requirement:

• Occasional inter-state or regional travel required
