Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations.
• The ideal candidate will assist with recording transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting senior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Prepare and update financial documents, invoices, and reports
• Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger postings
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Support monthly financial reporting and closing activities
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper classification of transactions
• Assist with audit preparations and compliance requirements

Requirements:

• HND / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–2 years relevant experience (NYSC experience acceptable)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in an accounting role.
