Job Description:
- 1st line support for staff on service requests and incidents
- Escalate unresolved issues/requests to 2nd Line in a timely manner.
- Ensure continuity of banking operations via high-quality customer service
- Assist with the onboarding of new users, movement, leave plan, and exit of staff.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of all equipment and related stock.
- Ensure compliance with operating procedures.
- Installation of software on systems and servers for branches and the Head Office
- Maintenance of the File Server and user rights
- Assign users and computers to the proper groups in Active Directory
- User and profile maintenance on the Active Directory
- Installation & Update Maintenance of Anti-virus software for all users
- Windows Patch and Anti-Virus Updates for all computer hardware
- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
- Ensure and maintain internal IT Operations security as it relates to general information security policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or Higher National Diploma in any discipline
- At least three years of relevant experience in a similar environment
- I.T. all-rounder with in-depth knowledge of technical hardware, Microsoft Operating System (Win 7-10, Win Server 2008-2012), Office Suite software (MS 2007-2013)
- Experience with Win SQL 2008/2012 R2 or other database platforms would be an asset.
- Proficient in troubleshooting issues relating to hardware and software
- Should be familiar with Active Directory.
