Job Description:

  • End-to-End Inventory Management: Maintain real-time, accurate records of all building materials (cement, steel, finishing, etc.), equipment, and tools.

  • Stock Optimization: Monitor inventory levels and trigger reorder points to prevent project delays. Conduct rigorous physical stock counts and reconcile them with digital system records.

  • Procurement & Logistics Coordination: Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, ensuring quality and quantity match. Coordinate seamless material distribution with Site Supervisors to maintain project timelines.

  • Compliance & Financial Reporting: Enforce inventory control protocols to mitigate theft and loss. Prepare comprehensive daily and monthly reports for management, flagging any discrepancies or damages immediately.

  • Cost Control & Storage Efficiency: Track material usage per project to assist in budget adherence. Organize site stores to minimize wastage, improve material lifespan, and ensure safety standards for hazardous materials.

Requirements:

  • Integrity & Accountability: Proven ability to manage high-value assets with zero tolerance for discrepancies.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret usage trends and suggest cost-saving measures.

  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple warehouse/site locations simultaneously under pressure.

  • Communication: Clear verbal and written reporting skills for coordinating between procurement, finance, and engineering teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Industry Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in inventory management, with a strong preference for candidates from the Construction or Real Estate sectors.

  • Technical Proficiency: * Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

    • Practical experience with ERP/Inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).

    • Deep knowledge of construction material specifications and equipment maintenance.

Salary

₦150,000 - ₦200,000/month
