Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Inventory Officer to join our team in Lagos. You will be responsible for balancing our stock levels to ensure product availability across all distribution channels while minimizing surplus. If you have a sharp eye for data, experience in inventory management software, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers to drive cost-efficiency, we invite you to apply for this vital role.

Requirements:

• Stock Optimization: Monitor stock levels daily to ensure they are adequate to meet both customer demand and distribution channel requirements, preventing stockouts or excessive overstock.

• Inventory Tracking: Maintain precise records of daily deliveries and shipments, reconciling inventory data to ensure absolute accuracy.

• Systems Management: Utilize inventory software to track demand trends, document product characteristics, and maintain organized databases.

• Replenishment Strategy: Proactively place orders to replenish stock based on real-time data and forecasted needs, ensuring business continuity.

• Data Analysis: Analyze consumption patterns to anticipate future inventory requirements and optimize purchasing cycles.

• Vendor Management: Evaluate and vet suppliers to secure cost-effective deals while fostering long-term, trustworthy partnerships.

• Collaborative Operations: Work closely with warehouse staff and cross-functional teams to ensure inventory processes align with broader business goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, HND, Master’s Degree, NCE, or OND qualification.

• Experience: 3–7 years of relevant work experience in inventory control, supply chain, or warehouse management.
