Job Description:
THE JOB
- Planning, organizing and supervising the inventory control operations and providing quality assurance on work done by the team.
- Provide leadership and direction in communicating and monitoring inventory control policies and processes.
- Ensure all materials received by the company are following policies and procedures
- Weekly reconciliation of material movements including report on any shortages
- Perform administrative tasks such as allocation of staff to various duty posts, approval of staff overtime, dissemination of relevant information to team members.
- Check compliance with approved operational procedures at entry gate, weighbridge, loading bays and exit gates.
- Report deficiencies in control to the manager and make appropriate recommendations.
Requirements:
- Have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, stock control, and supply chain processes.
- Be proficient in the use of ERP systems and inventory management tools for tracking and reporting.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational abilities to manage warehouse and logistics teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting.
- ICAN/ACCA/FMCG and audit experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
