Job Description:

We are seeking a high-integrity and analytically rigorous Internal Auditor to anchor the governance framework at Dios Dlite. In the high-velocity Food Processing/FMCG sector, success is defined by "Process Integrity", the ability to identify hidden operational risks, tighten internal controls, and ensure every Naira of expenditure is transparently accounted for. This role is designed for a "Risk Architect" with 2–3 years of experience who can blend "Financial Forensic Skills" with the "Operational Grit" required to audit inventory cycles and manufacturing processes.

Your mission is to ensure "Absolute Accountability and Strategic Risk Mitigation." You will be the primary guardian of the company’s internal standards: responsible for conducting deep-dive audits, verifying transaction accuracy, and providing management with actionable insights to improve operational efficiency. If you possess "Exceptional Professional Judgment," are pursuing ICAN/ACCA, and have a background in FMCG or Manufacturing, we want you to drive our governance excellence.

Requirements:

1. Governance & Risk Management

• Control Orchestration: Conduct comprehensive internal audits across financial and operational units, evaluating the effectiveness of existing process controls.

• Risk Identification: Proactively identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, and potential fraud risks, recommending robust corrective actions to management.

• Compliance Stewardship: Ensure unwavering adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements, maintaining a "zero-deviation" standard.

• Mitigation Support: Assist in the development of risk mitigation measures to protect the organization from financial and operational shocks.

2. Financial & Operational Forensic Review

• Expenditure Verification: Review all expenses, payments, and procurement cycles for accuracy, ensuring full compliance with documentation standards.

• Inventory & Asset Guarding: Audit inventory-related processes and monitor asset usage to prevent leakage and ensure the safeguarding of company resources.

• Transaction Integrity: Verify that every transaction is backed by legitimate, accurate, and complete supporting documentation.

3. Reporting & Advisory Excellence

• Analytical Reporting: Prepare clear, high-fidelity audit working papers and reports that translate findings into strategic recommendations for management.

• Follow-up Governance: Track and follow up on audit observations to ensure that agreed-upon corrective actions are implemented within set timelines.

• Culture Advocacy: Promote a company-wide culture of transparency, accountability, and best practices in internal control.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical discipline.

• Professional Path: Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage or must be actively in progress.

• Experience: 2–3 years in internal audit, accounting, or control roles (Experience in FMCG, Food Processing, or Retail is a major advantage).

• Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with basic accounting/ERP systems.
