Job Description:
I Surf Global is seeking a strategic and operationally sound Human Resources Manager to lead our people operations in the fast-paced fintech sector. This role is designed for a professional who can balance the administrative rigor of HR compliance with the dynamic needs of a growing tech workforce. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle—from strategic recruitment and onboarding to performance management and organizational culture.
The ideal candidate will act as a vital bridge between management and employees, ensuring that our people strategies align with our business goals while maintaining an environment of high engagement and professional excellence.
Requirements:
Employee Lifecycle & Operations
End-to-End Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including targeted recruitment, structured onboarding, ongoing performance management, and professional exit processes.
Documentation: Maintain impeccable personnel records and HR documentation, ensuring data integrity and ease of access for reporting.
Payroll & Reporting: Support the coordination of payroll activities and provide management with insightful HR reports to guide decision-making.
Policy, Compliance & Labor Relations
Framework Implementation: Manage and update HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all HR operations strictly comply with Nigerian labor regulations and industry standards.
Disciplinary & Grievance Management: Act as the primary point of contact for staff welfare, resolving grievances and managing disciplinary matters with fairness and confidentiality.
Growth & Culture
Workforce Planning: Partner with executive leadership to identify talent gaps and plan for future organizational needs.
Learning & Development: Coordinate training programs designed to upskill employees and improve overall team performance.
Culture Advocacy: Drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and foster a positive, high-performance fintech culture.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: * B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience: * 3–5 years of relevant HR experience is required.
Prior experience in Fintech or similarly fast-paced environments is a strong advantage.
Core Competencies:
Linguistic Mastery: Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and modern HR best practices.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships across all levels of the organization.
Professionalism: A high level of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
