Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Human Resource Officer to anchor the people engine of our Abuja-based school. In a specialized educational landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the quality of the educator and the precision of the policy success is defined by "Institutional Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize HR strategy with the clinical precision required for Staff Appraisal Cycles, Labor Law Compliance, and Safeguarding Protocols. This role is designed for an "Operational Architect" who can blend "Governance Grit" (supervising facilities and health/safety) with the "Strategic Agility" required to drive Professional Development and Child Protection Initiatives.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Strategy Governance
Sovereignty of Policy: Develop and implement HR strategies and procedures aligned with the school’s vision, acting as the primary "Source of Institutional Framework."
Compliance Architecture: Ensure 100% adherence to labor laws and safeguarding policies, providing the "Structural Foundation" for a secure learning environment.
Integrity Stewardship: Drive employee welfare and professional development, ensuring the "Source of Pedagogical Quality" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Talent Logic
Recruitment Sovereignty: Oversee end-to-end staff hiring, onboarding, and contract management, acting as the primary "Source of Talent Capacity."
Appraisal Architecture: Lead appraisal cycles for administrative staff and support the Head of School (HoS) in teaching staff reviews, providing the "Functional Foundation" for performance excellence.
Cycle Stewardship: Manage leave cycles and staff records with high fidelity, maintaining the "Source of Operational Continuity."
3. Operational Integrity & Facility Power
Administrative Sovereignty: Oversee general functions including correspondence and archiving, acting as the primary "Source of Institutional Memory."
Facility Architecture: Supervise facilities management to ensure a conducive learning environment, providing the "Relational Foundation" for health and safety compliance.
Velocity Logic: Utilize proven HR expertise to accelerate the "Onboard-to-Appraisal" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Institutional Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Proven track record in Human Resources, ideally within the Educational or Professional Services sector.
Technical Power: Strong understanding of Nigerian Labor Laws and Child Safeguarding standards.
Location: Must be based in Abuja for full-time onsite operations.
