Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources (HR) Director to oversee our organizational human capital and ensure that all HR operations are executed smoothly, effectively, and in alignment with our long-term business objectives. As a key member of the leadership team, you will devise innovative strategies for staffing, training, and performance management, while ensuring our workplace culture remains productive, ethical, and fully compliant with all labor legislation.
Requirements:
Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement corporate plans for critical HR functions, including compensation, benefits, and workplace health and safety.
HR Oversight: Manage all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics; provide leadership and guidance to the HR department to ensure excellence in delivery.
Performance & Talent Strategy: Devise and champion strategies for performance evaluation, talent acquisition, and professional development to support organizational growth.
Employee & Labor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employment relations and manage communications with labor unions.
Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards; proactively identify, anticipate, and resolve potential litigation risks.
Disciplinary Oversight: Handle grievances and workplace violations with diligence, invoking disciplinary action when necessary to maintain ethical standards.
Reporting: Analyze HR metrics and data to report on workforce trends and operational performance to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Proven experience as an HR Director or in a senior HR leadership role, with a full understanding of organizational operations and business objectives.
Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of human resource management (HRM) principles, best practices, and excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to leverage data analysis and reporting to drive HR decisions.
Leadership: Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, paired with a business acumen that recognizes the importance of the "human element."
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a firm, diligent, and high-integrity approach to management.
