Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Supervisor to lead our daily HR operations and ensure the seamless execution of our people strategies. In this role, you will act as a key leader within the HR department, supervising staff and ensuring that all talent acquisition, performance management, and administrative processes align with company goals and local labor regulations. Requirements:
Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day HR workflows, ensuring the team remains productive and processes are completed efficiently. Provide guidance and supervision to HR officers and assistants.
Talent Management: End-to-end management of recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing. Lead the onboarding and orientation process to ensure a positive start for new hires.
Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict adherence to local labor laws and company internal policies. Support audits, maintain documentation integrity, and keep HR databases up to date.
Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for complex employee grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and objective resolutions.
HR Administration: Monitor attendance, leave management, and employee records. Prepare regular HR analytics and reports, including headcount tracking and turnover analysis.
Strategy Support: Collaborate with management to implement HR initiatives and support hiring managers in identifying and selecting top-tier talent.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Possession of a CIPM certification is a strong advantage.
Experience: 3–6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1–2 years in a direct supervisory or management capacity.
Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, standard HR practices, and employment regulations.
Tools: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR Management Information Systems (HRIS) or similar software.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and lead by example.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, with a high degree of integrity and professional discretion.
