Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven HR Audit & Compliance Lead to ensure the integrity, efficiency, and standardization of our HR operations. You will serve as the governance expert, auditing HRMS utilization, enforcing process standardization across all our national locations, and ensuring that our employee lifecycle management remains fully compliant with both internal policies and external labor regulations. This is a critical role for a professional who thrives on investigative rigor and enjoys driving systemic change across a multi-location industrial organization.
Requirements:
HRMS & System Governance: Audit system transactions and HRMS utilization to ensure data integrity. You will act as the key liaison with HRMS vendors and internal IT teams to optimize workflows, reporting structures, and internal controls.
Process Standardization: Act as a custodian of corporate HR standards. Evaluate operational practices at every plant location, driving the standardization of filing systems, documentation, and record management to ensure a unified "company-wide" approach.
Audit & Reporting: Design and execute audit programs. You will prepare detailed findings, manage audit trackers, and present comprehensive compliance dashboards to the Group Head – National HR.
Corrective Action & Stakeholder Management: Partner with Plant HR Managers to monitor the implementation of corrective actions. You will troubleshoot process gaps and ensure that operational failures are addressed promptly.
Training & Capability Building: Lead compliance awareness sessions for HR teams. You will mentor field teams on audit readiness, documentation excellence, and the evolving requirements of HR process governance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of HR operational experience, with at least 3–5 years specifically focused on HR audit, compliance, internal controls, or process governance.
Industry Preference: Deep experience in a multi-location manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred.
Certification: Professional certifications in HR, Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management (e.g., CIA, CISA, SHRM-CP) are a significant advantage.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of HRMS systems, payroll auditing techniques, and labor law compliance.
Key Competencies:
Analytical Rigor: Strong investigative skills with a keen eye for detail and process accuracy.
Communication: Excellent report-writing and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from plant managers to executive leadership.
Agility: A "problem-solver" mindset and the ability to travel extensively across Nigeria to manage multiple site audits simultaneously.
