About Company:

Talent Code Africa is committed to empowering individuals and organizations through innovative talent development, technology-driven learning solutions, and workforce transformation initiatives. We are building a strong digital presence to amplify our impact, engage our community, and position ourselves as a thought leader in the talent and tech ecosystem.

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategically minded HR & Admin Manager to anchor our people operations and administrative framework. In a high-growth environment, success is defined by "Operational Equilibrium", the ability to balance rigorous regulatory compliance with a culture that fosters staff productivity and professional growth. This role is designed for an "Organizational Architect", a professional with 3–5 years of experience who can blend "HR Technical Grit" with the diplomacy required to manage diverse stakeholders, from interns and NYSC members to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.

Your mission is to ensure "Seamless Lifecycle Management and Administrative Excellence." You will be the primary steward of our human capital and physical infrastructure: responsible for end-to-end recruitment, payroll integrity, and the enforcement of internal policies. If you possess "Regulatory Mastery," a high level of professional discretion, and a proactive approach to facility management, we want you to drive our organizational excellence.

Requirements:

1. Human Capital Lifecycle & Strategy

  • Talent Orchestration: Manage the full "Hire-to-Retire" lifecycle, including strategic recruitment, immersive onboarding for staff and interns, and structured exit processes.

  • Performance Governance: Coordinate the performance appraisal framework, ensuring that evaluations are data-driven and aligned with the organization’s growth targets.

  • Welfare & Culture: Oversee leave management, attendance tracking, and staff welfare initiatives to maintain high levels of engagement and retention.

2. Fiscal Integrity & Benefits Administration

  • Payroll Stewardship: Prepare and validate payroll inputs, meticulously managing allowances, deductions, and staff loan repayment schedules.

  • Statutory Compliance: Liaise with Finance to ensure the timely and accurate processing of taxes, pensions, and other statutory deductions in line with Nigerian labor laws.

  • Vendor Diplomacy: Manage the ecosystem of service providers and vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement of office supplies and efficient facility management.

3. Policy Governance & Regulatory Liaison

  • Framework Evolution: Develop, update, and enforce the Employee Handbook and internal HR guidelines to reflect evolving labor trends and organizational needs.

  • External Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies (CAC, FIRS, NYSC, etc.), ensuring the organization meets all legal and statutory obligations.

  • Administrative Infrastructure: Oversee daily office operations and coordinate the logistics for high-level meetings, trainings, and company-wide events.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master’s or professional certifications like CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI are a significant advantage).

  • Experience: 3–5 years in HR and Administrative roles, preferably within the Education, Tech, or Service-based sectors.

  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern HRIS/Payroll tools.

Core Competencies

  • Regulatory Grit: Deep knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and statutory compliance processes.

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal skills required to bridge the gap between management and staff.

  • Ethical Presence: A high level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with absolute discretion.
