Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Hotel Operations Manager to lead operations at our premier luxury property in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating high-level business strategies into operational excellence, driving commercial returns, and ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a blend of commercial business acumen, financial stewardship, and a passion for people development.
Requirements:
Operational Excellence: Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring efficiency across the Executive Office and all functional divisions.
Strategic Revenue Management: Implement dynamic pricing and inventory management techniques to maximize RevPAR and occupancy. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to adapt to changing trends.
Financial Leadership: Take full ownership of P&L analysis, budgeting, and capital expenditure planning. Manage operational costs while rationalizing expenses to meet owner return targets.
Team Leadership & Culture: Build, recruit, and mentor a high-performing team. Drive performance through regular appraisals, training, and career development initiatives.
Guest Experience: Elevate service quality and brand loyalty (including IHG One Rewards). Investigate guest feedback with actionable solutions and maintain high visibility in public areas.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to statutory requirements, company ethics, and quality monitoring tools (e.g., TrustYou, MOQA, LRA).
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a confident representative of the hotel, presenting monthly results to stakeholders and nurturing relationships with government officials, suppliers, and the local community.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Master’s Degree or MBA in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Business Administration.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in a 5-star luxury hotel environment.
Minimum of 5 years in senior hotel operations management.
Proven track record in driving commercial returns and business growth.

Exceptional communication skills in written and verbal English.
