Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Head of Procurement to anchor the acquisition engine of our oilfield services operations. In a specialized upstream landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the rig supply and the precision of the technical specification success is defined by "Procurement Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize end-to-end supply chain functions with the clinical precision required for Drilling Equipment Sourcing, Logistics Coordination, and Regulatory Compliance. This role is designed for a "Sourcing Architect", specifically an executive with 10–15 years of experience (including 5+ years in senior leadership within O&G) who can blend "Field Grit" (forecasting requirements for active rig operations) with the "Commercial Agility" required to negotiate complex contracts and manage high-value vendor networks.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Sourcing Governance

• Strategy Sovereignty: Develop and execute the procurement strategy with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Alignment."

• Vendor Architecture: Build and maintain a robust network for drilling equipment and spare parts, providing the "Structural Foundation" for quality and compliance.

• Integrity Stewardship: Enforce strict ethical sourcing standards and anti-bribery measures, ensuring the "Source of Corporate Governance" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Negotiated Logic

• Contract Sovereignty: Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing, acting as the primary "Source of Commercial Value."

• Risk Architecture: Identify and mitigate supply delays and cost fluctuations, providing the "Functional Foundation" for proactive risk management.

• Process Stewardship: Oversee the end-to-end workflow from RFQ to payment processing, maintaining the "Source of Transactional Fidelity."

3. Operational Integrity & Leadership Power

• Cross-Functional Sovereignty: Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to monitor inventory, acting as the primary "Source of Supply Chain Integration."

• Mentorship Architecture: Provide leadership and mentorship to the procurement team, providing the "Relational Foundation" for a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 10–15 years of O&G expertise to accelerate the "Requisition-to-Delivery" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Operational Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration. (Master’s/MBA preferred).

• Experience: 10 – 15 years in procurement/supply chain; 5+ years in senior leadership within oilfield services or upstream O&G.

• Technical Power: Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; deep knowledge of Incoterms and O&G logistics.

• Certification: Professional distinctions such as CIPS, CPSM, or PMP are highly preferred.
